Boston Terrier
 |
The Boston Terrier is a lively, intelligent dog. It derives from a crossbred Bulldog/Terrier and takes its name from the city where it was developed. True to its terrier and bulldog heritage, the Boston Terrier has the ability to be a bit stubborn, but with dedicated owners can be well trained and obedient. Originally bred for fighting, the Boston Terrier is now considered a companion animal that if properly socialized, gets along well with children and other animals. It was first recognized and accepted into the non-sporting group by the American Kennel Club in 1893.
