Polyester has the benefit of drying quickly and therefore being more resistant to mold and mildew. In addition to this, polyester accepts a printing process called dye-sublimation or heat transfer. Using high heat the colors are infused directly into the fibers of the material making them permanent. The colors do not run and only fade slightly after many months of use.
