Russell Terrier
The Russell Terrier is a predominantly white working terrier with an insatiable instinct to hunt formidable quarry underground. The breed was derived from the Reverend John Russell's fox working terrier strains that were used in the 1800s for fox hunting. There are many varieties of Russell Terrier, the Jack Russell and the Parsons Russell Terrier. These beloved dogs have been featured in many television shows and movies, such as "Eddie" on the sitcom "Frasier", "Wishbone" on the PBS show of the same name, "Milo" in the movie "The Mask" starring Jim Carrey.
