Treeing Tennessee Brindle
This breed is descended from mountain dogs all over the U.S. and was used by Native Americans for hunting. In 1967, the Reverend Earl Phillips founded Treeing Tennessee Brindle Breeders Association which has grown to over 500 members. The Treeing Brindle dog is a robust, yet sweet, lovable dog. They learn quickly and get along well with older children. The Treeing Tennessee Brindle does not adapt well to apartment life as it is very energetic and thrives on vigorous exercise with its family.
